1976 Ford Bronco

This Bronco began as a professionally restored 1976 Ford Bronco built by Maxlider Brothers Customs. Since taking ownership, it has become an ongoing project of refinement, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and continuous learning.

While the major restoration had already been completed, ownership has meant understanding every system, solving problems as they arise, documenting repairs, and making thoughtful improvements over time.

The project became less about restoring an old truck and more about truly understanding it.

The Bronco arrived with extensive mechanical and cosmetic upgrades already completed, including a complete rebuild of the Ford 302 V8, FiTech EFI conversion, C4 automatic transmission, James Duff suspension system, and Borgeson steering conversion.

Also included: a four-row aluminum radiator, Vintage Air climate control, a family roll cage, LED headlights and taillights, backup camera, Apple CarPlay audio, interior sound insulation, new carpeting, a soft top, and numerous cosmetic and mechanical restoration details throughout the truck.

Owning a classic Bronco means there's always something to stay on top of.

Like most classic trucks with modern components underneath, it took a little time to get to know.

One repair began as a water pump replacement and grew into a more thorough job: resealing the intake manifold, replacing the thermostat, and flushing the cooling system.

The engine itself was inspected in the process and confirmed to be in excellent condition.

Discussions with Maxlider also provided additional insight into the original build, including why the original low-profile intake manifold was retained instead of switching to a taller Edelbrock unit, and other design decisions that shaped the truck.

It's a Bronco that's driven regularly, continually improved, and carefully maintained.
